About the Program

This holistic approach provides an authentic and enriching experience, imparting the knowledge to create impactful social ventures while immersing you in the cultural richness of the communities we serve and nurturing your well-being.

Our program weaves together personal growth, community impact, and a deeper connection to the community around you. By program completion, you will possess the expertise and skills to develop sustainable businesses that address societal challenges. Through dynamic small-group learning and mentorship, we foster empathetic and innovative entrepreneurs committed to driving positive impact.

 BUILD for HOPE

The BUILD for HOPE project is dedicated to improving the lives of Cambodia's most impoverished communities, especially those in rural areas surrounding Siem Reap. These areas often suffer from high poverty rates, where many families struggle to survive on less than a dollar a day. Most of the existing housing in these regions is rudimentary and can't withstand the frequent rainstorms. In response, BUILD for HOPE constructs traditional Khmer-style houses designed for durability and resilience, offering families safe and secure shelter for at least 15 years. Each house is a solid four meters by five meters structure with concrete footings, wooden sides and floorboards, and a durable tin roof. Beyond housing, these structures represent hope and positive change, a testament to the power of safe and stable living conditions. The project is about more than just building houses; it's a holistic approach to improving lives. The team works closely with the community and our social worker conducts thorough assessments to ensure that the neediest families are identified. Families receiving support must own their land and be debt-free to prevent eviction or repossession. This comprehensive strategy extends to addressing other critical aspects of living conditions, such as sanitation and education. BUILD for HOPE's impacts go far beyond the physical structures they create. Families receiving these houses experience positive changes in their lives, from improved sleep to better school attendance. As we build hope, our participants play a crucial role in making this transformation possible. Your support is invaluable and instrumental in bringing these changes to those who need them the most. Your participation in the project ensures a lasting impact that transforms the lives of the impoverished, one house at a time.
