Introducing Dr. Tom Pfeiffer, our newest addition to the team! Driven by a lifelong passion for volcanoes and their captivating phenomena, Tom is an esteemed German volcanologist with a Ph.D. in volcanology. His extensive research has delved into iconic eruptions, including the Minoan eruption of Santorini and Vesuvius' Plinian eruption in 79 A.D.
Tom's journey as a volcanologist has taken him across the globe, from Germany and Italy to Denmark and Hawaii. A true adventurer, he found his calling in the midst of erupting volcanoes, transforming into a renowned freelance photographer, capturing the awe-inspiring beauty of these natural wonders.
As a mentor and educator, Tom's dedication to knowledge transfer has grown exponentially. His expertise in volcanic landscape photography has garnered international acclaim, with his works featured in numerous publications and projects. His book, "Volcano Discoveries," published in 2015, stands as a testament to his talent and unwavering passion.
